Hi to all.  This Nipa hut design that you see here was also constructed by us  

(JANO Bahay Kubo Maker). 

           Bahay kubo, also called nipa hut, is a traditional symbol of  Phillippines.  We do our best to incorporate needs of modern living into the traditional appearance of construction.  We began constructing this modernized Nipa hut in November 2008 and completed the project in January 2009 at Cabuyao Laguna.

Bahay Kubo ( Nipa Hut )

The nipa hut, also known as bahay kubo, is a traditionally constructed house used in Philippines.  It is constructed with bamboo tied together and covered with a thatched roof using nipa/anahaw leaves.  A nipa hut is an icon of Philippine culture as it represents the Filipino value of bayanihan, which refers to a spirit of communal unity or effort to achieve a particular objective.

Materials we use:

The requirements depend on the design of nipa hut.  High quality bamboos available in market and anahaw leaves are mainly used for all designs.
